What is the best camera to record video games with that's fairly cheap?

Q. I record some videos for youtube like Monster Hunter Tri hunts and my camera doesnt have great video or sound quality. So I am just seeing if there is a better camera for me to use if anyone knows of one.
My current camera is a HD SONY Bloggie, and the HD barley works....

A. there really isn't a good video camera to record video games. the best thing to do is use a capture card. there is a dazzle dvd recorder that costs like fifty dollars. if you have a HDTV and play on it, you gott a get hd pvr, the best capture card but costs 200 dollars.

How to get good quality when recording games with a Camera?
Q. Well its pretty good quality when i record but it gets weird. Is there a strategy when recording Video Games???

A. The camcorder needs to have the AV-in feature. If it does not have AV-in, there is no cable that can make it have AV-in. Basically, you would need three "Y" cables... one end plugs into the game console (one for video, one for right audio, one for left audio). One end plugs into the TV. One end plugs into the camcorder with AV-in.

Rather than a camcorder, you can use a TV capture card or "analog/digital bridge" (like those from Pinnacle - Dazzle - or Canopus) and connect directly to your computer.

Sony Handy cam HDR-CX150, is there a way to record my video game play?
Q. After watching multiple youtube videos on how to record video games from a camera, I've found one common issue with my camera. I need to fin the av output or input settings. It is possible that the camera itself has no such setting. If so, tell me so I can just give up already.

A. You cannot use your camcorder as a recorder from the AV jacks. You can only record from the lens. To do what most gamers do, get a DVR, hook your game machine that and that to the TV. Record game play, then transfer file from DVR to computer. Use your camcorder, mounted on a tripod to cover your game playing grunts and groans, the do a PIP effect, putting you in the corner of the video. Windows Movie Maker cannot do PIP
