Q. In the kitchen where i work there is already one video camera in the main kitchen that videos the majority of the kitchen and the exit door for security.
this camera is due to be replaced and also another camera added to film another part of the kitchen where there is no security risk and the only reason i can see for it is to check if people are working!
Also both new cameras will be equipped to record sound?
Is it legal to record video and sound in the workplace?
What are the rules or restrictions?
Is there any goverment guidelines?

A. That is totally strange as why would they want volumes also and another camera if they have one already.Is the owner and bosses all paranoid or having some issues to do all this as it's like spying to me.I don't know the legal aspects of it but surely look this crap up and good luck with this company...

Q. I need a good camera because i like going to concerts and filming the bands and i like making drum covers for youtube, but i need a good camera that can record sound clearly without the sound being nothing but static... and it needs to be able to plug into a computer.
A. Camcorder mics are not that good, as they are unidirectional pick up audio from everywhere. If you can you need a directional mic picks up there you point it. the better the quality the more expensive they are.
legal bit concerts and the music played at them is copyrighted you may get into trouble doing this, unless you get permission fom the copyright holder
it depends on how much you are willing to spend on a camera and mic. they can cost as much or more than a camera.
a little more information on budget and maybe the type of camera you are looking at.

Why does camera record video with no sound?
Q. My daughters Kodak easyshare c813 camera records video but it won't record sound. Is there a setting I need to tweak in order to get sound in my videos?
A. It does record audio it just does not have a built in speaker. If you want to hear the audio you will have to download the files to your computer.
