best video camera for recording sound image

i have 100 dollars 2 spend on a digital video camera or camcorder. what is the best one? i want really high quality videos and to record sound. kinda the quality of what Smosh on youtube has their videos.

I have a Samsung SL605 camera and all of a sudden the camera stopped recording sound D'''':
It has 12.2 mega pixels and I love it... I just need it to record sound during videos. It still takes the videos and it still takes pictures but it won't record sound!

Go through the menus for Movie and Voice. make sure that Voice is not Off.
