Hello it would be great if any of you can help me with this "Problem" our church has, we are trying to record the audio from the microphone our Pastor(speaker) Is using. He is using the http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr130/Mexican_Mafia_2008/photo1.jpg,
SE50 - Headworn Condenser Microphone

We want to record what comes out of the microphone.

We have a Video Camera, but the microphone is to sensitive to the noise around it! since its a church its very loud, we film from the back of the church and you can hear everyone who comes in, so we want the audio recorded from the microphone so we can just hear our pastors voice. The Video Camera we have is the Canon XF100, i tried changing the setting so there would not be so much noise but it is still doing it.

We do have an audio mixer board, and 3 receivers but I don't if we can use does to do it?

How about trying a digital recorder?

What is the best video camera to use with Pinnacle Studio Ultimate?

We want to start recording short videos for church, but I don't know what kind of camera to purchase. I need a low cost but decent camera.

Answer
Generally you should stick with a Mini DV-C tape camcorder, but you'll need a capture card or FireWire connection on your computer.

Prices start in the $200 range right now.

These transfer in AVI format which is the easiest to work with.
