The camera has a mic built in, but I don't want to use it, I'd rather use the better quality Samson C01u usb microphone I have. So when I'm playing guitar, how do I use the Samson for audio and the Kodak for video. I can't "disable" the microphone inside the camera. Is there any solutions to this?

Answer
Yes - it is actually pretty easy. Use the camera to record the video and use the USB mic to record audio. In your video editing software, you can disable the audio from the camera and insert the audio file form your USB mic. You can also sync the audio so that it matches up with the video. I use Roxio software, but pretty much any video editing software will do this.
