what is the best dslr camera for video recording?

tempe

Answer
The two new Nikon's, the D8000 and D4 are the only dSLR's that provide for uncompressed video.

Something to think about if you do NOT want to buy a proper video camera with full 48-kHz/16-bit digital audio on four channels, genlock, SMPTE time code and composite video built-in

what is a good dslr camera that has video recording and a compression format of avchd?

Leticia

I have seen that it is becoming used for independent films and I want to look for one that would be good for video. I have heard that avchd format of compression is better than the jpg that most dslr used that have video recording. Also is there one that record in HD 1080/60i ?
