I'm looking for a DSLR camera ..i liked the canon 500D and the 550D...but i was wondering is there a model that can be compared to them but WITHOUT the Video Recording.

and yes i hav looked into 450D...I don't mind which brand...
what i am really looking for is low cost- similar specifications.
